Operation and maintenance of abstraction works, WTP and networks

We offer comprehensive solutions for surface and subterranean water catchment, supported by highly specialised equipment for hydrogeological studies, boreholes, gauging, and dam exploitation. Furthermore, we assist our clients in the management and processing of hydraulic concessions and authorisations.

We complete this approach with the application of advanced water treatment techniques, through sustainable and tailored solutions that cover the entire cycle: from plant design to its construction, operation and maintenance.

We are leaders in water purification and desalination plants, membrane technology, disinfection equipment, and contaminant removal.

Water quality control and regulatory compliance

We continuously monitor the quality of distributed water using a preventive approach that incorporates operational surveillance in stages prior to distribution.

In addition to the external laboratory and mobile (on-site) laboratory analytics required by legislation, at Facsa we also add more frequent surveillance or continuous monitoring of parameters considered key for ensuring health guarantees. All quality information for distribution networks can be consulted on the SINAC platform provided by the Ministry of Health.

Energy optimisation and loss reduction

We optimise the performance of supply systems by combining advanced analytics, digitalisation and operational knowledge. We act on networks and facilities to reduce losses, improve energy efficiency and ensure more sustainable use of resources. Through monitoring tools, hydraulic models and data analysis, we identify critical points, adjust pressures, optimise pumping operation and minimise energy consumption.

Remote meter reading, remote control and digitisation of services

We define and implement remote reading, remote control, and digitalisation solutions tailored to each municipality to optimise water management. Through advanced technologies, we anticipate demand, monitor in real-time the volumes circulating in the network, detect incidents quickly, and reduce non-billed water. To achieve this, we integrate tools such as remote reading, geographic information systems, and sectorisation, improving the hydraulic and energy efficiency of the service.

This model relies on rigorous measurement control, guaranteed by our Testing Metrology Laboratory, from which we verify flow rate accuracy and the correct selection and calibration of meters. Additionally, we conduct technical studies for large consumers and household uses, offering specialised advice for more efficient and digitised management.

Customer Management and User Support

We make available to the supply service a complete information system developed entirely by Facsa to meet the needs of billing, collection, contracting, as well as any subscriber data management and processing tasks.

One of the main advantages of our software is the enormous flexibility it offers for adapting to new working methods, client-specific requirements, and technological advancements.
