Commitment to biodiversity

Our commitment to protecting an essential resource like water has driven us to extend our activities towards the conservation and care of urban environments and natural spaces, fundamental elements for preserving and protecting biodiversity.

From the Environmental Quality department, we provide services for the surveillance, maintenance, conservation, research, administration, and management of protected natural areas.

Services environmental care

Control and inspection of discharges

We provide technical assistance and consultancy for managing discharge authorisations, as well as designing and implementing specific control plans. We also carry out flow measurement campaigns and supervise the sewerage network and stormwater overflows to ensure their correct operation.

Additionally, we carry out mapping of the sewerage network, its delineation and subsequent updating of the mapping.

Specialised technical consultancy for wastewater discharges

We have a technical team with extensive experience in wastewater discharge management that provides specialist advice and helps interpret communications and requirements issued by water basin authorities.

Furthermore, we are responsible for optimising and supervising discharge authorisations into the environment, inspecting treatment facilities to ensure they meet the established requirements, and carrying out specific campaigns to identify and correct potential pollution sources.

Monitoring and maintenance of protected natural spaces

We carry out access control and activity monitoring to prevent infringements, as well as raising visitors' awareness about environmental care. We also conduct bird censuses, gardening tasks, invasive species control, waste collection, and trail maintenance, contributing to the conservation and recovery of the natural environment for respectful use of nature.

Wastewater treatment plant management

We bring extensive experience and a large team of experts in the management of organic waste treatment and valorisation plants, sewage sludge, slurries, and agro-industrial waste.

We transform leftovers into new products and give waste a second life by converting it into energy, biogas, biomethane, or fertilisers.
