By-products and biofertilisers

At Facsa, we transform the bio-waste generated in our processes into valuable resources. From sludge and digestate, we recover essential nutrients such as phosphorus, nitrogen, proteins, and lipids, as well as high-value compounds like enzymes, bioplastics, pigments, and other by-products. We also produce biofertilisers, biostimulants, and biopesticides using advanced technologies such as solid-state fermentation, and we valorise the CO₂ generated in biomethane production for industrial use.

For over a decade, we've been investing in innovation and technology to optimise waste valorisation, thereby contributing to a sustainable circular economy and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
