The visit that the children's queen of the Magdalena Festival, Berta Montañés Selma, accompanied by the ladies of her Court of Honor, made this afternoon FACSA Telecontrol Center and Didactic Classroom, where they were received by Juan Antonio Llopis, director of the Sanitation and Purification area of FACSA.
During the visit, the young representatives of the founding festivities learned firsthand about the educational and outreach program 'The Course of Water', which is taught to first cycle primary school students and aims to raise awareness among the youngest children about the responsible use of water resources.
In its first year of operation alone, it has received more than 1,500 schoolchildren aged between 6 and 9 years old from about twenty schools throughout the province.
The event was also attended by the godmothers and children's presidents of the different gaiatera commissions of the city.
