- The city council has once again awarded the management of the municipality's drinking water supply service to the Grupo Gimeno company.
The Vilanova d'Alcolea Town Council maintains its confidence in FACSA, to whom it has once again awarded the contract for managing the town's drinking water supply. The company has been providing this service continuously in the municipality for 13 years, thanks to a 16 km pipeline network that supplies water to nearly 700 customers.
The contract – for three years with the option of a two-year extension – includes the management and maintenance of the facilities linked to the provision of the service, such as the collection, treatment, supply and distribution of any type of water supplied from the public network, including electrical, mechanical or other installations owned by the Vilanova d'Alcolea City Council.
This contract is part of a conglomerate of supplies that includes other neighboring municipalities in the area and which, together with the supply of drinking water to Castelló Airport, are supplied from the same collection system, reservoirs and high-pressure network, among others, which allows for a much larger management and contract volume.
