The Castellón City Hall's Assembly Hall hosted the official reception for the companies and institutions sponsoring and collaborating on the 8th BP Castelló Marathon and the 5th FACSA Castelló 10K. A total of 32 organizations made significant contributions to the event.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Castellón, Amparo Marco; the Councillor for Sports, Enric Porcar; the Provincial Deputy, Luis Martínez; and Samuel Balaguer, President of CA Running Castelló. All of them emphasized the “invaluable support and fundamental role that sponsors and collaborators play in promoting this sporting event, considered the flagship event on the Castellón sports calendar.”.
In her speech, Amparo Marco expressed her gratitude and stated that "together we are making Castellón better and placing the city where it deserves to be, at the top." She emphasized that "the BP Castelló Marathon and the FACSA 10k are extremely important events that attract many people from beyond the province to our region.".
For his part, the Councilor for Sports, Enric Porcar, expressed his gratitude for the efforts made by sponsors and collaborators, adding that “thanks to them, the BP Castelló Marathon and the FACSA 10K have become much more than just a race.” He noted that “it’s a celebration of sport in Castellón, taking place throughout the weekend.” Porcar also acknowledged the volunteers who support both events and the groups and associations that fill the center of Castellón with sporting activities open to all citizens the day before.
From the organizing club of the race, its president, Samuel Balaguer, has joined in the thanks and highlighted the importance that "both small and large contributions have for the consolidation and projection of the Marató BP Castelló and the 10K FACSA.".

Regarding the special activities planned for race day, FACSA will set up an inflatable arch on Gobernador de Castellón Street, near the company's offices, to create a festive atmosphere. The company will also distribute clappers to encourage participants in the race.
All employees who wish to do so can come to the FACSA entertainment point on Sunday, February 18, accompanied by their families, to help liven up the 10K.
