The La Vall d'Uixó City Council and FACSA, the company contracted to provide the town's drinking water service, have unveiled the new electric vehicle that the company has added to the Municipal Drinking Water Service fleet. This acquisition expands the City Council's existing fleet of zero-emission vehicles and reaffirms both entities' commitment to the environment, sustainable mobility, and efficiency.

The new 'Twizy' incorporates a zero-emissions electric powertrain, allowing for environmentally friendly travel within the city. This small and highly versatile vehicle has the range, space, and capacity necessary to ensure that FACSA can provide its services more efficiently and sustainably.

The event was attended by the city's mayor, Tania Baños, and the city councilor for Urban Planning, Francesca Bartolomé. Representing FACSA were Pascual Maximino, director of water supply for FACSA Potables; Guillermo Urios, the company's service manager in La Vall d'Uixó; and Óscar Peris, production manager for the southern region.

This new initiative, jointly promoted by the city council and the service company, adds to the actions launched by both entities in their firm commitment to improve environmental and energy sustainability in the development of their activities.

Furthermore, Gimeno Servicios demonstrates its constant and utmost respect for the environment by complying with the complex environmental management requirements outlined in the UNE EN ISO 14001 standard in each of its activities. The company also holds the UNE EN ISO 50001 certification, the energy management system that establishes the conditions for promoting energy savings and efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change.
