Toledo once again entrusts FACSA with the adaptation and improvement of its ornamental fountains

Awarding of ornamental fountains Toledo WEB Facsa

The Works and Infrastructure Department of the Toledo City Council has awarded FACSA a new contract for the adaptation and improvement of ornamental fountains in the city.

This time, the infrastructure slated for renovation is located in Plaza de España and Paseo de La Rosa, in the Buenavista and Santa Bárbara neighborhoods, respectively. The company, which manages the maintenance and irrigation services for several gardens and ornamental fountains in the city, will be responsible for replacing the plumbing, as well as waterproofing and installing biocide dosing pumps.

Finally, FACSA will carry out the necessary civil works for the future electrical installation of the lighting of the fountain jets using LED lights, thus improving the beauty of the fountains and their surroundings.

Currently, these fountains are inactive due to the presence of significant structural risks and risks in the plumbing installation, since the leaks found in the fountain parameters can cause sinkholes or subsidence in the nearby roads in the short and medium term.

With this new contract, the Toledo City Council renews its confidence in FACSA, which was already awarded this year the contract for the maintenance service of the plumbing and fountains of some of the city's parks and gardens.
