Specifically, company representatives detailed that developing this project required a comprehensive evaluation of the current state of Tarazona's water supply network, from water intake and treatment to storage in municipal reservoirs and their current condition, as well as water quality control and leak detection.

Thanks to all this work, the town's Master Plan has accurately determined the current state of the water supply network and has allowed for the necessary conclusions to be drawn for an effective upgrade that optimizes water use and treatment. It is worth noting that the project places vital importance on technological improvements in the management of the water supply service, with the implementation of a remote monitoring and meter reading system with continuous water quality checkpoints. "This project is a long road; we will have to dedicate considerable effort, work, and financial resources to properly optimize our supply network," the mayor of Tarazona emphasized during his address.

Arrechea also stated that the planned investment for 2023 includes projects to renew more than two kilometers of pipes and conduits throughout the city. “The first project will focus on renewing the pipelines along Avenida de Navarra up to the Tórtoles neighborhood, as well as renewing a problematic section with serious issues in the main water supply line to the Water Treatment Plant,” he concluded.
