With the aim of continuing to advance in optimizing the efficiency and sustainability of the service water supply In Nules, the City Council has decided to carry out a network renewal on La Mar street that will improve the supply to its residents.
Facsa, The company that manages the town's water supply has already begun installing nearly 700 meters of high-density polyethylene pipes in the new low-pressure drinking water supply network, the beach network, and the ring network. These pipes will ensure better pressure distribution and much more precise control of the volume of water supplied. In addition, 18 resilient-closing gate valves, two air valves, and 10 irrigation outlets will be installed on the new pipes, and 25 of the existing residential water connections will be replaced.
It is worth noting that, following the single-trench policy with which the City Council aims to minimize disruption to residents, this work is part of the paving project for the area. Furthermore, this approach minimizes the risk of having to repair leaks in newly paved areas, with all the associated costs and difficulties.
As explained by David García, Mayor of Nules, “as is being done in all the renovations in the municipality, these network renovations will be used to improve the sidewalks and their accessibility conditions, providing these streets with inclusive road safety measures for citizens.”.
