The mayor of Onda, Ximo Huguet, accompanied by the Head of Service of the Supply Area of FACSA, Ignacio Aparici, as well as by the director of the Supply Area, Pascual Maximino; and the Head of Operations of the company, Rafael Ferrer, today visited the well of the Patron Saints of the town, in order to learn firsthand about the improvement works that the company of Gimeno Servicios has carried out in these facilities, which constitute the main source of water supply to the urban center of the municipality.
Following the visit, the mayor of Onda, Ximo Huguet, highlighted that "with this action, we have achieved one of the objectives we have as a government team, which is to improve the daily lives of the citizens of our municipality.".
Specifically, the improvement works have allowed the renewal of the station's electrical control panels, as well as the replacement of the power supply and the electrical transformer that feeds the facility.
Thus, the operators have replaced the existing electrical control panels with new ones that, in addition to being equipped with state-of-the-art technology, will remain connected to FACSA's telecontrol system.
In addition, frequency converters have been installed that will allow individual control of the three wells that make up the facility, which will increase its efficiency.
“With these improvements, in addition to renovating facilities of vital importance for the urban supply of drinking water to the town, we are equipping the supply service with the latest technologies in order to make it more efficient and improve our quality of service to all citizens,” Aparici stated.
