The Marratxí Municipal Water Service, managed by FACSA, [Company Name] continues to make progress towards its goal of improving the efficiency and sustainability of the service. This time, with a new project aimed at renewing a critical section of the network to guarantee the provision of sanitation and drinking water supply services to its citizens.
Specifically, the works – carried out within a period of three weeks – have consisted of the replacement of 78 meters of pipe, both of the sanitation network and of the drinking water network that runs along the main road of Pont d'Inca, the Antoni Maura Avenue.
Regarding the sewage system, in addition to increasing the pipe diameter, the network's route has been corrected. This will allow the City Council and the managing company to put an end to the overflows caused by extreme rainfall at the intersection of Antoni Maura Avenue and Camí Cabana.
Furthermore, taking advantage of these works, the water supply network has been renewed to prevent future water losses due to leaks. In this regard, it is worth noting that infrastructure renewal is one of the strategic objectives of both the City Council and FACSA to achieve an optimal water distribution and sanitation network.
This objective is complemented by the commitment to the digitalization of the service, which began with the installation of an integrated remote control system under the new technological brand Waternology by Facsa. This technique allows real-time monitoring of the status of all service facilities, enabling immediate action through installed alarm systems and enabling a much better allocation of service resources to meet the population's consumption demands.
Thanks to the implementation of new technological applications and the investments made in the renewal of infrastructure, the Marratxí Municipal Water Service is moving forward hand in hand with FACSA towards a sustainable future for water.
