Facsa participated in the inaugural meeting of the National Water Innovation Ecosystem, Inno4H2O, held at the State Research Agency (AEI) in Madrid. This meeting marks the official launch of a key project for the future of water management in Spain, aimed at promoting sustainability through the application of advanced technologies. The event, organized with the support of the Spanish Water Technology Platform (PTEA), brought together leading entities in the sector to explore funding and cooperation opportunities in R&D&I related to the water cycle.
Facsa actively participates in this innovation ecosystem, which aims to optimize water resource management through the development of new tools and technologies.
During the event in Madrid, support programs from the Spanish Innovation Agency (AEI) and the Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI), aimed at fostering water innovation, were presented. The role of the Spanish Partnership for International Water Action was also discussed, and the main objective of the Inno4H2O ecosystem was outlined: to strengthen the value chain of the integrated water cycle, a key strategic resource in the current context of ecological transition. The session concluded with the presentation of the PTEA awards.
The Inno4H2O project, coordinated by the Institute of Ceramic Technology (ITC), includes the participation of other centers of excellence, such as the Technological Institute of Castilla y León (ITCL) and the Technological Institute of Galicia (ITG), along with relevant companies in the water and technology sector, such as Facsa, EMIVASA, ADASA Sistemas, Scope Producciones, and Tinámica SL.
This initiative is funded by the CDTI, within the framework of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation and the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, and seeks to make Inno4H2O a national benchmark for addressing the challenges associated with water scarcity.
Facsa thus reinforces its commitment to innovation and sustainability, contributing its experience in efficient water management to help develop technological solutions that guarantee the availability of water resources in the future.
