The FACSA Chair at UJI receives the Onda Cero award in the Environment category

The FACSA Chair at Jaume I University recently received the Onda Cero Environment Award for its contribution to research, innovation, and scientific dissemination related to integrated water cycle management. The Chair's director, Sergio Chiva, along with its co-director and FACSA's Director of R&D and Continuous Improvement, José Guillermo Berlanga, accompanied by Aina Macias, Laura Menéndez, and Rosario Arnau, from the FACSA Chair, accepted the award.

For his part, the president of FACSA, Enrique Gimeno, presented the Onda Cero Tourism Award to the acting vice president of the Provincial Council of Castelló, Vicent Sales, for the 'Templar Territory' campaign, which has been broadcast through the National Geographic History Channel.

During the gala, held in the Paraninfo of the UJI (Universitat Jaume I), the following were also awarded: the Down Syndrome Foundation in the Human Values category; mountain runner Laia Canyes in Sports; Professor Ángel Faus Belau in Communication; the Joan Baptiste Porcar High School in Culture and Visual Arts; teacher and musician Diego in Music; the MITAF program by Charo Belenguer and Lourdes Escobar in Health; and the Torrelasal Marine Studies Institute in Science and Research. Additionally, bartender Geray Monforte received the Onda Cero Gastronomy Award, pyrotechnician Pepe Penyarocha the Onda Cero Festivals and Traditions Award, and the company Cuadernos Rubio received the Onda Cero Education Award. In the Economics and Business category the prize went to Papas García, while in the Internet and New Technologies category it went to UJI professor Jordi Adell and in Literature the distinction went to the writer Rosario Raro.
