  • The Provincial Council completes the canalization work to the Castellón wastewater treatment plant and begins a testing phase

Work to complete the Borriol sewer line is nearing completion. The Castellón Provincial Council has announced the completion of the more than 11-kilometer pipeline from Borriol to the Castellón wastewater treatment plant. This project, undertaken by the joint venture FACSA-Jujosa, represents an investment of €2.26 million and will improve wastewater treatment.

From now on, a testing period will begin to verify that everything is working correctly.

In addition, the reactor and settling tank have been emptied in recent days, and the equipment used to transport the stored material at the Borriol wastewater treatment plant has been dismantled. The operation will culminate in the final demolition of the facilities.
