The Almassora City Council will improve the water supply to residents in the area around Santa Lucía Street thanks to the drinking water network renovation work carried out in the area by [company name missing]. Facsa, the company that holds the concession for this service.
The mayor of Almassora, María Tormo, and the councilor for Public Services, José Martínez, have overseen the final stage of the work carried out by Facsa These works have been carried out specifically on Santa Lucía, San Martín, San Hipólito, San Elías, and San Lorenzo streets, and are currently continuing in San Martín Square. Furthermore, this project also includes the renovation of residential water connections and the installation of gate valves at the intersections of the various streets.
The mayor has stated that "it is important to renew and modernize the network to improve the supply and optimize resources in pursuit of greater efficiency.".
Another network renewal project carried out by Facsa has taken place in the beach area, specifically on Les Faroles, Ausiàs March, Tabarca streets and Meridià Avenue. The work consisted of replacing pipes and improving the distribution network. This project also included the renewal of existing residential connections.
All of this will optimize the service and increase the network's performance by minimizing water losses in the supply networks, which will directly impact a more sustainable and environmentally friendly service.
