Castellón, December 23, 2017 The facilities of the Sports City FACSA They celebrated the start of the Christmas holidays with some great football. Boys and girls from around thirty teams across the province participated in the second edition of the Christmas Tournament. ‘'FACSA Trophy'’, organized by the CF Fomento Castellón. This event, beyond mere competition, aims to establish itself as a fun, participatory, and social day where children can simply enjoy the sport and share experiences.
The matches, which began at 9:00 a.m., brought together teams from the pre-Benjamin, Benjamin, Alevín, Infantil, and Cadete categories. In addition, the club's youngest members, those from the CF Fomento Castellón youth academy, participated in an exhibition match alongside their counterparts from Athletic Artana.
As for the awarding of trophies, CD Betxí (pre-Benjamin), CF Les Palmes (Benjamin), Esportiu Vila-real (Alevín), CD Roda (Infantil) and Esportiu Vila-real (Cadete) were the winners of this edition of the championship.
And, regarding the holiday program, the FACSA Sports Complex will host the 2nd Christmas Camp from December 26th to 29th. This intensive training course is geared towards pre-Benjamin, Benjamin, Alevín, Cadet, and Junior categories, as well as the youngest athletes in the youth academy. In addition to promoting sports, the camp aims to encourage a healthy lifestyle among young people.
