Real-time monitoring for leak and spill detection

Currently, a large proportion of sewer systems are suffering from a high degree of degradation, which can cause problems such as corrosion, infiltration, discharges, bad odours and flooding. To address this situation, at Facsa we have developed a solution based on the Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) technique, which allows for real-time monitoring of infrastructure and precise localisation of infiltration and discharges in a short time. In addition to its technical advantages, this technology represents a reduced initial investment for the administration.
