We analyse and optimise indoor contaminant dispersion using CFD simulation
CFD modelling calibrated with real sensors to redesign ventilation and capture in critical areas.
We develop pollutant dispersion studies in indoor spaces with the aim of optimising ventilation and capture systems, improving air quality and facility efficiency. To achieve this, we apply advanced simulation using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), which allows us to analyse in detail the evolution of pollutant concentrations in enclosed environments.
Our methodology combines modelling with calibration using real-world data, obtained through sensorisation of the different emission sources in the room. This enables us to adjust the models to real operating conditions and understand how pollutants are distributed based on variables such as ventilation, the geometry of the space, or the location of the emission sources.
Based on this analysis, we are redesigning the ventilation and capture systems to improve their effectiveness, promoting correct air renewal and a significant reduction in contaminant concentrations in critical areas.
