Secure the resource today. Protect it for tomorrow.
We model and monitor spills with real-world data to ensure environmental compliance.
Over 20 projects with dispersion models validated by multiparametric probes to protect rivers, reservoirs, and coastlines.
We develop advanced solutions for the modelling and monitoring of discharges into hydraulic public domain and the marine environment, with the aim of ensuring the protection of water bodies and optimising decision-making. Through pollutant dispersion models, we analyse the behaviour of the discharge and calculate the mixing zone, taking into account the dynamic conditions of the receiving medium, whether it be a river, reservoir or coastal environment.
Our methodology combines simulation with calibration and validation using real-world data obtained with multiparametric probes, which allows us to adjust the models to real operating conditions. Furthermore, we incorporate “what-if” scenario analyses, evaluating different situations based on flow rate, pollutant load, or environmental sensitivity, making it easier to anticipate impacts and define more effective management strategies.
We have applied this solution in over 20 projects for public administrations and industries from different sectors, addressing issues ranging from river discharges and submarine outfalls to quality studies in reservoirs and coastal dynamics. In these projects, we have contributed to the design of infrastructure such as outfalls, the analysis of impacts on sensitive ecosystems, or the optimisation of pre-discharge treatments, ensuring compliance with environmental limits in all cases.
As a result, we help to ensure compliance with environmental quality standards, minimising the impact of discharges on the receiving environment and reinforcing data-driven management. In this way, we not only improve operational efficiency, but also foster a more advanced technical culture and greater confidence from administrations and society.
