The Segorbe City Council and FACSA Work has begun to improve the water supply network in the village of Villatorcas. The project, which will take 15 days to complete, involves installing 225 meters of 110 mm diameter high-density polyethylene pipe at the roundabout leading to Geldo.
The Councillor for Urban Planning of the Segorbe City Council, Luis Gil, visited the works today accompanied by the Director of the Supply Area of FACSA, Pascual Maximino, as well as by the head of the Southern Zone, Óscar Peris, and the head of Supply of Segorbe, José Ramón Elorza.
The action is part of the program that both the council and FACSA have launched to renew the hydraulic infrastructure of Segorbe, both for supply and sewage.
As explained by the Councillor for Urban Planning, Luis Gil, “This project will prevent the loss of pressure and supply to the village of Villatorcas, resulting in a better service for the population, as well as a lower risk of supply cuts.».
For his part, Pascual Maximino, director of the Supply area at FACSA, highlighted that “These works reflect the commitment of the Segorbe City Council and FACSA to incorporate improvements in the municipality's water supply service, which ultimately translates into an improvement in the quality of service provided to citizens.”
María de Aragón Street
Representatives from both organizations also visited María de Aragón Street, where improvements will soon be made to renew the pipe network and replace the pavement, which is currently in poor condition.
Among the works planned for the coming months, as reported yesterday by the Councilor for Urban Planning at a press conference, there is also an action on Castellanos street, as well as the improvement of the pressure in the San Blas neighborhood and the change of the stairs in various reservoirs in Peñalba and Segorbe, works that will allow the quality of service of these facilities to be improved.
