Castellón, November 25 – FACSA has presented “The Course of Water,” its new educational and environmental awareness project aimed at primary school students at its also new outreach center. “The Course of Water” is a bilingual (Spanish and Valencian) educational and informative program of FACSA, It seeks to raise awareness about the importance of water as a basic natural resource for life, about its responsible use, and also to explain the complete water cycle to children in a pedagogical way.

Augmented reality, 3D animation, apps, new technologies, and experiments are some of the activities that shape this highly interactive and digital project. To design it, FACSA It has thought about the youngest children, adapting to their school curriculum and looking for the best way for them to have fun and learn at the same time.

“Those who know the most about water” are five animated characters who will be in charge of explaining the most relevant aspects championed by FACSA in the management of the integrated water cycle, as well as the characteristics of the different phases of the cycle: collection, distribution, supply, sanitation, purification and reuse.

For this purpose, qualified technical personnel from FACSA She coordinates the various activities and workshops of the course in the new classroom designed for this purpose. It is a new, modern, versatile, and multipurpose space, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and infrastructure.

Since its launch in November, more than 200 children have already visited the facilities, and visits from eight schools in Castellón and an additional 450 students have already been confirmed by next January. Initially, visits are being planned for all schools in the city of Castellón, but visits will also be coordinated throughout the rest of the province in collaboration with the Castellón Provincial Council and in other autonomous communities. The mayor of Castellón, Amparo Marco, accompanied by the councilors for Territorial Planning, Mobility and Metropolitan Area, Rafael Simó, and for Environmental Sustainability, Sara Usó, visited the new center this week and met with students from the CEIP Gaetà Huguet school who were visiting the classroom. Marco expressed her gratitude for the social and educational work carried out by the company and emphasized the importance of “conducting environmental awareness campaigns aimed at young children. It is essential that we all become aware of the importance of caring for our natural resources and respecting our environment, and this can only be achieved through education.”.

They are fundamental to continuing to care for the environment and to generating collective awareness.”.
