In a context like the current one, in which the whole country is going through a complicated situation due to water scarcity, the Nules City Council and Facsa They continue to make progress toward their goal of optimizing the efficiency and sustainability of the water supply service. In response to the drought, the city council and the company that operates the Municipal Drinking Water Service have intensified their efforts and are currently undertaking new improvement projects, this time at the water facilities serving one of the municipality's most important industrial parks, the La Mina Industrial Park.
The technicians from the Urban Planning department, led by the councilor for the Integrated Water Cycle, Adrián Sorribes, the councilor for Health, Ramón Martínez, and the head of service of Facsa, Raquel Ginés and her team visited the new pumping station at the La Mina reservoir. This project guarantees the highest quality water supply to both the existing La Mina industrial park and the industrial parks in implementation unit 1 of sectors 5A and 5B.
Specifically, the improvements have consisted of the installation of two new centrifugal pumps, capable of lifting 100 m3The pumping station, with a height of 15 meters, will improve water pressure. The electrical panel of the installation has also been upgraded and modernized. Furthermore, this pumping system has been integrated into the municipality's existing digital infrastructure, resulting in improved resource management.
The Councillor for the Integrated Water Cycle, Adrián Sorribes, highlighted the importance of these works for the future of the town, "as they guarantee the quality of the water supply to all current industries located in the La Mina industrial park and future ones that are planned to be installed in the new units that are being built.".
These works reflect the commitment of the Nules City Council and Facsa to the development and prosperity of the town, as they not only open the door to the arrival of new companies, thus generating more job opportunities and promoting local economic growth, but also improve the infrastructure and the quality of life of the residents.
