A total of 3,518 students from 79 schools in different parts of Spain have enjoyed the projects during this school year that Facsa It is carried out to raise awareness of the natural and urban water cycle, and to make society aware of the need to make good use of this vital resource for socio-economic development and ecosystems.

Specifically, the company operates through two educational projects. One is the Water Course, a program for schoolchildren that combines augmented reality and 3D technology, which this year has reached more than 3,000 students from 69 schools. In this regard, it is important to highlight that during this school year Facsa has expanded the scope of this project, reaching schools in various municipalities of the Costa Brava, as well as Mallorca and Ibiza, which join those in the province of Castellón and the city of Toledo, where it was already being implemented

Furthermore, the company promotes water culture through #connecttowater, a project launched this year that has reached a total of 430 young people from 10 educational centers this academic year. These young people have enjoyed this innovative program designed for the learning of adolescent and adult audiences, using virtual reality glasses that immerse participants in an incredible journey through the different phases that make up the complete water cycle.

It is worth noting that, of the total number, 2,230 people from 48 centers have been served in the Facsa outreach classroom in Castelló.

These figures highlight Facsa's commitment to promoting water awareness through educational initiatives that help raise awareness among young people about the need to care for our environment. This effort was recognized at the second edition of the Corporate Social Responsibility Awards, which awarded "The Water Course" for having raised awareness among more than 14,500 schoolchildren over six years.

As Pilar Soria, head of the Corporate Social Responsibility Department at Facsa, explains: “Sustainability education is essential, and that's why we intend to continue this awareness-raising work to educate the public about environmental issues and problems related to water use. We aim to help society become more aware of the impact that certain habits or actions can have on water and the environment in general.”.
