The Moncofa Town Council and FACSA have begun rodent and insect control treatment in the sewer system. The treatment, carried out by several pest control teams from the contracted company, will take place in both the old town and the coastal village of the municipality.
In order to make the procedure more effective, company officials have reviewed the level of infestation in the sewer network to identify areas with a higher presence of rats or cockroaches, which will be targeted for more intensive treatment.
Regarding the product used, the most effective one for these prevention tasks has been selected, since it has the particularity of breaking the life and growth cycle of pests by acting both by contact and by inhalation.
Furthermore, to complete the treatment, the City Council and FACSA have recommended that Moncofa residents use household cleaning products inside buildings and on individual water connections. All this information and preventative advice can be found in informational leaflets available in various municipal buildings throughout the town.
It should be noted that once the process is completed, reviews will be carried out during the months of May and June, carrying out, if necessary, complementary actions in those areas of occasional activity.
