Last chance to register for the online course on the operation and management of a WWTP from the FACSA-UJI Chair

The new online course 'Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs): Operation and Management' has extended its registration deadline to April 6th. The course is primarily aimed at professionals, university graduates, and final-year students who wish to acquire practical knowledge related to the effectiveness and efficiency of WWTP operation.

Through the sessions, which will begin on April 9 and continue until May 31, participants will be introduced to the wastewater treatment sector through theoretical topics, which will be accompanied by explanatory videos with a practical approach, based on the experience and knowledge of the different speakers.

Luis Basiero, chemical engineer, Master in Environmental Engineering and Director of the Sanitation and Purification Area of FACSA; Javier Climent, chemical engineer, Master in Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in Industrial Facilities and R&D&I technician of FACSA; in addition to the researchers in modeling and simulation in WWTPs from the UJI Rubén García and Rosario Arnau, will be the professionals who will allow the students to acquire a practical, efficient and effective training on WWTP operation.

Following the positive reception of the four editions held in person at the Universitat Jaume I (UJI), the FACSA-UJI Chair is launching the second edition of the online version to make it more accessible, with the aim of training attendees to interpret the different process and treatment units of a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).
