INDRISK: Water Security Management in Industry

2018 - 2019
INDISK

Manage water-related risk

The INDRISK project is an industrial research project whose main objective is to advance the development of a digital tool to enhance the quantitative and qualitative aspects of industrial water security. It is aimed at sectors where water is a key factor, either in their supply chain by incorporating it into their products (agri-food industry) or due to any other circumstance that makes it a fundamental part of their value chain (water service operators).

INDRISK focuses on being an application for managing water-related risk. It processes and exploits information obtained from the company's production and supply chain, as well as information operated on other public data platforms and servers that contain relevant data on the water cycle. This fundamentally includes the qualitative and quantitative control networks of the Automatic Hydrological Information System operated by the river basin authorities, AEMET, Autonomous Communities, and other Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI) currently in development or in the future.
