FACSA today contributed its experience in the field of urban water cycle infrastructure at a conference in Valencia where experts and representatives of administrations and companies discussed the future prospects of the sector.
During the meeting, organized by the Spanish Association of Water Supply and Sanitation (AEAS), the technical deputy director of the Supply Area of FACSA, Miguel Ortiz, presented the network renewal plan of the municipality of Burriana as a success story, in a panel that served to share different initiatives and practical cases that the main management companies have launched in recent years in this field.
During this session, the technical deputy director of the Supply Area of FACSA also discussed the technical aspects of asset management, related to the renewal of infrastructure to increase efficiency in its management.
The meeting also included the presentation of two documents prepared at the sector level to place the problems of the renewal of hydraulic infrastructure in the urban water cycle in its context and to advance possible solutions to the problems detected in areas such as financing.
