FACSA moves The Water Course to FirUJIciencia

Firujiciencia water course Facsa

To mark World Water Day, FACSA participated today at the FirUJIciencia fair at the Universitat Jaume I in Castellón. Specifically, the Gimeno Servicios company showcased its innovative educational activity for schoolchildren, "The Water Cycle." This educational project aims to raise awareness about the importance of preserving this resource, as scarce as it is essential for life, and in which more than 2,000 students participated last year alone.

For its part, the FACSA Chair of Innovation in the Integrated Water Cycle presented an experimental setup to explain, using a didactic model, how an artificial wetland works. In this way, students were able to learn about concepts such as filtration, biological degradation, and pollutant absorption, as well as how nature can contribute to these processes.

He has also presented the publication 'Wastewater Treatment: Anaerobic Digestion', which compiles the main research presented at the 1st Conference on Anaerobic Digestion held at the UJI.
