SMAGUA 2025 has once again positioned itself as a key event in the water sector, bringing together the main players in the industry in a space dedicated to innovation and technology. In this edition, Facsa had a prominent presence, consolidating its role as a leader in sustainable water management.
One of the most significant moments was the book launch «"Guidelines for sustainable water management"», This document serves as a key reference for moving towards more efficient and resilient models. The session began with a welcome address by José Claramonte, CEO of Facsa, followed by a presentation from Enrique Cabrera, Professor of Fluid Mechanics at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and an expert in water planning, who outlined the document's main objectives. Cabrera emphasized the importance of anticipating the sector's challenges through innovative strategies that ensure the efficient and sustainable use of water.
Facsa also played a prominent role in the presentation of iRAIN, an innovative project developed by a multidisciplinary consortium led by Facsa and EURECAT. In his presentation, Rubén García Tirado, R&D&I project technician at Facsa, He explained that this project develops new techniques for wastewater regeneration, monitoring of irrigation water and crops, and artificial intelligence-based tools for optimizing water resources in agriculture. This advancement will improve the efficiency and sustainability of water use in the agricultural sector.
In addition, Facsa participated in the ATEGRUS Technical Conference on "Waste Management and Circular Economy", where García Tirado presented innovative initiatives to improve efficiency in waste treatment in the water sector.

Laura Gabín, head of the Training and Development Department at Facsa, participated in a round table on talent and training, where she shared Facsa's commitment to professional development and the need to attract new specialized profiles to face the challenges of the future in water management.
