Facsa at the WRRMod2018 congress in Quebec

FACSA is participating these days in the 6th IWA/WEF WRRMod2018 Congress on modeling for resource recovery in wastewater treatment processes. A biennial event taking place in Quebec (Canada) from March 10 to 14.

This prestigious congress is chaired this year by Mark Van Loodstrech, Professor of Environmental Biotechnology and Wastewater Engineering at Delft University (Netherlands) and creator of the Nereda wastewater treatment technology, who also won the Spinoza Prize in 2014 for his research in the field of biomass behavior under dynamic conditions.

Furthermore, the meeting, which aims to discuss progress in this field and establish new lines of work, includes the participation of experts from academia, consultants, operators, manufacturers and software developers from around the world.

FACSA participates with an oral presentation and in poster format on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling in collaboration with Universitat Jaume I, the ICRA research center, the Masdar el Khalifa Institute (Abu Dhabi), the University of Bath (England) and the Denmark Technical University (Denmark), as well as in the IWA working group specializing in this subject.
