Facsa, together with Calaf Constructora and GS Inima Environment, will participate in the tender for the management of the water supply service in eight municipalities of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB), through a Temporary Joint Venture that will operate under the name Servei d'Aigües Metropolitanes de Barcelona (SAMEB).
The bid combines the experience and technical expertise of three companies with extensive experience in the integrated water cycle and hydraulic infrastructure sectors. Together, the resulting group serves more than eight million people worldwide and employs over 12,000 professionals. Its projected combined revenue exceeds €1.4 billion by 2026, guaranteeing the necessary technical, organizational, and financial capacity to undertake a contract of this magnitude.
The project includes the management of the water supply in the municipalities of Cervelló, Corbera de Llobregat, La Palma de Cervelló, Molins de Rei, Ripollet, Sant Andreu de la Barca, Sant Cugat del Vallès and Tiana, and incorporates an investment plan aimed at modernizing and improving existing infrastructure.
