Facsa is once again the main sponsor of the 7th edition of the Facsa Castellón Hackathon under the slogan 'digital empowerment'‘

Hackathon-Facsa

Hackathon Facsa Castellón, the event that brings together programmers to present them with technological challenges, celebrates its seventh edition from November 4th to 6th. This gathering once again has Facsa as its main supporter, and the agreement was signed by José Claramonte, the company's CEO, and Alexis Nadal, president of Xarxatec, the Association of Technology Companies of Castellón.

It is worth noting that this year the event moves to the Port Castelló facilities and presents a new motto around which all the challenges posed to the participants revolve: “digital empowerment”.

Facsa has signed on to one of these challenges, which must be resolved within a maximum of 48 hours by providing technological solutions. The company is addressing "Sustainability as a key factor in water management" and is proposing that participants create an app that promotes responsible water consumption and highlights the achievements and progress in the sustainable management of this resource. In addition to showcasing Facsa's actions toward this goal, the company aims to promote the use of self-management tools for water consumption, such as remote meter reading and the eOffice platform, as well as to collect and share best practices and ideas that can inspire and help citizens and companies responsible for water management to use and manage it even more sustainably.

It is important to remember that the company already channels all its technological potential through its Waternology brand, which brings together a set of digital solutions applied to the intelligent management of the water cycle.

Hackathon Facsa Castellón is an initiative of Xarxatec, the Association of Technology Companies of Castellón, which has Facsa as the main sponsor, and with the support of leading firms in the technology sector such as Cuatroochenta – 480, Nayar Systems, and IOTSENS.

This edition will be held entirely in person, and registration for the event is now open and can be accessed through its website www.hackathoncastellon.com
