In its effort to bring the operation of water treatment plants and the Integrated Water Cycle closer to the student community, FACSA recently hosted new educational visits to one of its facilities.

These took place at the Castellón Wastewater Treatment Plant, the largest plant in the province and one of those that treats the largest volume of wastewater in the Valencian Community, whose operation and maintenance is the responsibility of FACSA.

The protagonists of the days were the university students of the Degree in Electrical Engineering of the Universitat Jaume I and the students of various courses of the IES Penyagolosa, who were able to learn firsthand about all the stages of the Integral Water Cycle, as well as the operation of a purification station and the material and human resources necessary for the development of its activity.

This enriching experience also served to raise students' awareness of the sustainable use of water, given the great value of this resource.
