Facsa MBA circular economy conference UJI

FACSA and the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón continue to strengthen their collaborative ties. Gimeno Servicios' company participated in the module of the Universitat's Master of Business Administration (MBA), which is celebrating its seventh edition this year, dedicated to sustainability and social responsibility in business.

Specifically, José Guillermo Berlanga, director of the R&D&I and Continuous Improvement area of FACSA and Grupo Gimeno, who also co-directs the FACSA Chair at UJI; as well as Malú Barrera, technician of the Acquisitions and New Businesses Department of FACSA, gave a presentation in which they analyzed the integration of the circular economy into the company's business model, through various practical cases and projects.

For example, the session showcased various initiatives related to obtaining energy and useful resources from waste materials, through projects such as the agronomic and energy valorization of sludge or the reuse of reclaimed water, in addition to the importance of reducing carbon footprint emissions.

By participating in this event, FACSA further reinforces its commitment to the Castellón university community, in addition to promoting the dissemination of water culture in society and the transfer of knowledge related to the integral water cycle to professionals, students and research staff.
