FACSA, as part of its commitment to sustainability and environmental care, is expanding its fleet of environmentally friendly vehicles.
Specifically, the company's Supply area has incorporated a Renault Twizzy - a two-seater and 100% electric -, a Renault ZOE, also electric, and a Hyundai Kona Hybrid - a five-door hybrid with a 43.5 hp electric motor.
Three vehicles that, in addition to maintaining very low consumption levels, contribute to reinforcing the company's commitment to improving air quality in the city, as well as promoting a more environmentally friendly transport model thanks to their low emissions.
Hybrid vehicles emit an average of 1,850 kilograms of CO2 per 10,000 kilometers, while electric vehicles emit 850 kilograms. Considering that the average annual mileage for the Twizy and the Hyundai is 10,000 kilometers and for the Renault ZOE, 20,000 kilometers, it is projected that using them for commuting compared to conventional vehicles will reduce average annual CO2 emissions by 14,000 kilograms.
These figures will soon increase with the acquisition of three more electric vehicles and the replacement of one diesel vehicle with a hybrid one.
