FACSA, the company specializing in the management of the integrated water cycle belonging to Grupo Gimeno, has developed Meteolink (http://meteolink.grupogimeno.com), a new platform for managing meteorological information. An application created with the aim of optimizing cleaning and inspection services in the sewer network, conservation and maintenance of the sewer network's pumping stations, and spill control in Castellón.
This system, which allows users to consult the rain gauges located in the municipality of La Plana (Avenida Enrique Gimeno, Avenida Alcora, Zona Aeroclub, Plaza V.Carmen and EDAR Castellón), has more than 50 meters throughout the towns where FACSA provides its services, a system for recording historical rainfall at all data collection points, a 'rain-alarm' precipitation warning service and a 'rain-prediction' weather forecasting service.
Thanks to Meteolink, FACSA has the necessary information for the management and operation of the sewer network and pumping facilities in Castellón de la Plana.
