The Hotel Intur Orange in Benicàssim is currently hosting the fifteenth edition of FACSA's annual Technical Conference on Wastewater Treatment and Sanitation. This year's event is dedicated specifically to the legislation applicable to this field.
The event, which was inaugurated by the general manager of FACSA, José Claramonte, brings together numerous experts, professionals and specialized technicians to carry out a broad review of the different areas that constitute the regulatory framework applicable to the sector, exchange knowledge and share experiences around the main legal aspects that condition the operation and maintenance of sanitation and purification systems.
In this regard, the sessions have been structured around four thematic blocks dedicated, respectively, to public sector procurement; the management of water purification, sanitation and reuse; labor legislation; as well as legislation on the operation and maintenance of sanitation and purification facilities.
“We must continue with the motivation we have had for these 15 years to keep training and learning,» highlighted the general manager of FACSA, José Claramonte, who recalled that «14 years ago we started these workshops internally and later opened them to our collaborators, workshops that in addition to being educational, also have a social component, since we have fostered that they become a meeting point.».
Regarding the theme of this edition, the general manager of FACSA has emphasized that "it stems from the desire to convey to our organization and our collaborators the responsibilities we assume when we manage a wastewater treatment service from all legal aspects, from occupational safety to environmental pollution or the legal regulations of the facilities.".
