FACSA collaborates with AUARA's social water project

The Castellón-based company will use bottles from this company at its main events and functions, a company that dedicates its profits to projects that promote access to drinking water in developing countries.

Castellon, December 28, 2017 - FACSA, As part of its commitment to sustainable development, the company has begun a collaboration with the social water company AUARA. This firm invests the profits it earns from bottle sales in projects that improve access to clean water in developing countries, such as the construction of wells.

In order to contribute to this social work, FACSA will use the company's water bottles at some of its main events. The company has already launched initiatives in nine countries and, among other advantages, also manufactures its bottles with 100% recycled R-pet plastic.

In this way, drinking water will be brought to a greater number of people who lack this resource, in addition to reducing the environmental impact derived from the consumption of plastic containers.

According to the latest UNICEF data, more than 700 million people currently lack access to clean drinking water, and it is estimated that more than 1,000 children die every day from diseases related to consuming contaminated water. These are figures that AUARA, through its various projects, aims to help reverse.
