Castellón, March x, 2017 – FACSA, the Spanish company with the most experience in the management of the integrated water cycle, collaborates with the organization of the X World Children's Bowling Championship. A competition that this month will bring together teams from different schools in the province in Castellón.
The World Championship consists of two phases. The first phase began yesterday, Sunday, with the qualifying rounds. The semifinals will be played this Saturday, March 11, in the Plaza Mayor of Castellón, while the grand final will take place on Sunday, March 26, the last day of the Magdalena festivities, on the central promenade of Ribalta Park.
Although 'boli' is a traditional game especially associated with Castellón, its origins date back to ancient Mesopotamia, from where it spread to different countries. For years, Castellón has hosted the world championship of this sport during the Magdalena festivities, and it attracts more fans every year.
Alejandro Franch, coordinator of the World Bowling Championship, stated yesterday that “Although many boys and girls dream of winning the championship, the truth is that some have already achieved it.”. In that regard, he emphasized that, “From the first moment they decided to participate, they opted for a project and a commitment that involve tolerance, respect, cooperation, help, honesty, effort and fun, since the true victory is hidden within this wonderful game.”.
