The Xilxes Town Council and Facsa Once again, they are launching the special rat and insect control campaign in the municipal sewer network to prevent the possible proliferation of rat and insect infestations both in the town center and its surroundings, especially in anticipation of the hottest months of the year.
The fumigation work will take place between March 26 and 27 in the coastal area and between April 24 and 25 in the urban area. Depending on the specific characteristics and needs of each area, the team of specialists from Sitra and Facsa will apply various preventative treatments, combining the spraying of key points in the wastewater collection system with the installation of rodenticide baits to ensure maximum cleanliness in the different areas to be treated and thus control the reproductive cycle of these animals in public spaces.
To ensure the effectiveness of this preventative treatment, the council and the company are asking citizens for their cooperation by using household cleaning products inside buildings and private connections in the days leading up to the treatment, as well as preparing unoccupied homes and vacant lots.
Similarly, residents of Xilxes are reminded that they can contact the customer service office of Facsa or with the City Council in the event of a possible proliferation of rats or insects, so that special reinforcement can be carried out in the affected area.
