The Torreblanca Town Council and FACSA, the company that manages the town's public drinking water supply service, have begun work on installing a stormwater drain on Teruel Street. This project is part of the public institution's annual budget allocation for installing new equipment, renewing the network, and implementing improvements to the facilities.

The works, which will connect the new pipeline to the existing network on Huesca Street and Zaragoza Street, will consist of the installation of a collector made of high-density corrugated polyethylene pipe, 800 mm in diameter and 125 m long. Three prefabricated manholes with an internal diameter of 100 cm will be installed in this pipe.

This action will prevent surface runoff of water from the ditch of the N-340 road towards the town center of Torreblanca, thus avoiding the problems caused to the residents of the adjacent streets by not having a channel for the collection of rainwater during periods of heavy rain.

Yesterday, María Josefa Tena, the mayor of Torreblanca, and Rosana Villanueva, the town's Councilor for Urban Planning, visited the construction site on Teruel Street. Representing FACSA were Iñaki Elorza, Head of the Projects and Works Department, and Manuel Segarra, Head of the Torreblanca Water Supply Service.
