- The firm's objectiveThe aim is to expedite payments of municipal emergency social aid and prevent the cutting off of basic supplies due to non-payment.
As part of its social commitment, FACSA has recently signed an agreement with the Borriana City Council, whose objective is none other than to coordinate and expedite the payment of municipal emergency social aid granted to people in situations of economic vulnerability, due to debts generated with the supply of drinking water and sewage.
In this context, FACSA, the company that holds the concession for the drinking water supply and sewage management service in the municipality, has made commitments to "facilitate the payment of municipal aid agreed upon by the City Council," and especially "to suspend the cutting off of water supply from the moment the communication is received, by the technicians of the Municipal Social Services Centers, that the user of the service is subject to aid in this regard.".
For its part, the council has committed to "evaluating the circumstances of need that have generated the risk of suspension of the service and determining the granting of emergency social aid for the payment of debts to users of Social Services.".
Enrique Gimeno, president of FACSA, and Alejandro Boado, head of service of the company, have been in charge of ratifying an agreement that, on behalf of the public body, has been signed by the mayor of Borriana, Maria Josep Safont, and the councilor of Social Services of the City Council, Manel Navarro, with the main objective of preventing the interruption of basic supplies due to non-payment.
