FACSA, as part of its commitment to innovation, research, and the latest technologies applied to integrated water cycle management, participated this week in the latest edition of the International Water Association (IWA) Congress, held in Cape Town, South Africa. Organized by the Water Loss Specialist Group, the event served to address the latest developments, strategies, techniques, and applications of international best practices in this field.
Francesc Gavara, head of the Comprehensive Meter Management Department at FACSA, presented the results of the research work he has developed in this area together with the Water Engineering and Technology Group (ITA) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) during the congress.
Specifically, he has presented an article on quality control of domestic meters at the source, in which he explains the results of the tests carried out during the last five years, in collaboration with the UPV, in which the measurement errors of these and the consequent problems that arise from these errors are evident.
