CF Fomento Castellón, the grassroots football club promoted by FACSA, celebrates its second anniversary

Facsa CF FOMENTO CASTELLON

Fomento Castellón Football Club, the sports and social project promoted by FACSA, is celebrating its second anniversary. This club, committed to the development of grassroots sports in Castellón, has managed, in its two years of existence, to establish itself in various categories of the provincial league.

Beyond competition, the club continues to carry out various initiatives to promote sport and values such as camaraderie and teamwork. Three camps—one in the summer, another during Easter week, and a third at Christmas—bring together numerous boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 15 to refine their ball skills. These camps have solidified a project that also includes its own competitions, such as the 'FACSA Trophy' Christmas Tournament, which in its second edition during the recent holidays brought together around thirty teams from different parts of the province.

Regarding the 2017/18 season, CF Fomento Castellón has introduced several new developments. In addition to a large and well-prepared coaching staff, the club has added Fran Torres this season, a former Spanish National Futsal Team player who now coaches one of the youth teams. Furthermore, the club has fielded a team in the Under-16 category.

It is worth remembering that registrations are now open, both through the website www.cffomentocastellon.com and by phone at 672720458, and that for the next season Fomento will have representation in the youth category (up to 19 years old).

Fomento Castellón Football Club began its journey in the 2016-2017 season with the aim of promoting the sport and fostering human values such as respect, perseverance, and sportsmanship. This project, driven by FACSA, seeks to contribute to the development of grassroots football in the province and promote a healthy lifestyle among young people.
